This role offers the successful Building Surveyor the opportunity to work across an impressive client base while developing within a collaborative, ambitious team environment.

The Chartered Building Surveyor's Role

As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will manage a range of property portfolios, projects, and transactions, delivering advice across the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment process. This is a client-facing position where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery and service excellence.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out building and measured surveys

  • Ensuring buildings conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards

  • Taking particulars on site, preparing specifications, obtaining estimates, and administering maintenance contracts

  • Analysing and reporting on building defects

  • Handling claims and negotiations with loss adjusters, preparing drawings and specifications for remedial works

  • Preparing schedules of dilapidations for both land and buildings



The Successful Chartered Building Surveyor Will Have

Qualifications:

  • MRICS Chartered

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related field

Experience & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in a similar role

  • Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships

  • A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery
